Today you will visit one of the famous Buddhist Grottoes in Tianshui Gansu China, it is listed on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, built in 384-417 AD with about 10632 clay sculptures and stone carvings, 221 Buddha caves, and 1300 square meters murals, famous for its exquisite clay sculpture art, and known as the Oriental Sculpture Art Exhibition Hall.
Then you will visit the Fuxi temple and one of the most famous scenic spot Daoism temple ,it is one of the famous ancient buildings in Northwest China. It was originally named Taihao palace, commonly known as Renzong temple, where Fuxi was worshipped. It is said that he is the ancestor of the Chinese people. The second day you will visit the Buddhism treasure house Water curtain (shuiliandong) cave the 2nd largest water curtain cave in Tianshui , built in 558A.D. in China’s Northern Wei Dynasty. As magnificent Buddha statue was cut onto the cliff 43 meter high.

Itinerary

Day 1: Private tour to Maiji Mountian Grottoes and Fuxi temple

Stop At: Maiji Mountain, South of Maijishan Country, Maiji District, Tianshui 741028 China
Hotel pick up, our gudie and driver will take you visit Maijishan Grottoes, one of four most famous Buddhist Grottoes of China.
Maijishan Grottoes seated in south of Tianshui, 45min of driving from City, The grottoes was built in 4th initially. Used to be a important Buddhist site on the ancient Silk Road.196 caves with 1300 square meter of wall paintings were preserved.
Visit Fuxi Temple in the afternoon, Fuxi Temple was built in 15th century in the Ming Dynasty. Offered the statue of Fuxi himself. and Fuxi was considered as the Chinese ancestor by Chinese people from very ancient year ago.

Day 2: Private tour to Water curtain (shuiliandong) end in Lanzhou city

Stop At: Tianshui Shuiliandong Grottoes, Zhongloushan Canyon, Wushan County 741300 China
Drive to Lanzhou by car, our gudie and driver will take you visit Shuiliandong Caves in Luomen town on the way.
Shuiliandong Caves, also called Lashao Temple or Luomen Caves, built in 558A.D. in China’s Northern Wei Dynasty. As magnificent Buddha statue was cut onto the cliff. 43 meter high. The location of Shuiliandong has amazing rock mountain surrounded and also was the stop of ancient Silk Road
Continue drive to Lanzhou, drop you at hotel trip ends.
