From Vathi you will head to Kioni, a very pretty waterfront village for lunch. Stavros Village is your next stop. Stavros was founded in the 16th century by the inhabitants of the mountainous villages of Anogi and Stavros, since the attacks of the pirates had started to decrease. A road from the village leads to the picturesque Polis Bay with its lovely port. On its left coast stands the Cave of Loizos.

After a 15 minute drive from the port and a stunning drive into the capital of Ithaca. You will arrive at the port with time to explore this traditional port with port side shops, tavernas, bakeries, museum and ruins of the old Vathi pre 1953 earthquake

After leaving Vathi - relax and enjoy a scenic drive up to the elevated monastery of Kathara that over looks the bay of Vathi

Visit the quaint and historical village of Stavros the home place to Odysseus
