You'll be collected in a private vehicle for the 1.5 hour trip to Iximche. There, our local guide will explain the lifestyle of the Mayans while you explore the museum and grounds. Perhaps you'll even see a Mayan spiritual ceremony. This site was the first Spanish capital of Guatemala and you'll learn about the lifestyle of the people who lived there. It is a post-classic site established in 1465 and offers a beautiful day out. The full experience is 5-6 hours round-trip.

Stop At: Iximche, P2P3+G36, Tecpán Guatemala, Guatemala

You will be brought direct to the archaeological site for a private tour. Here we will have a local guide with Mayan heritage explain everything we see in the museum at this national park. This site was the first Spanish capital of Guatemala and its beautiful park-like setting is a must-see to learn about the lifestyle of the Mayan governors. There is also a good chance you may catch a Mayan spiritual ceremony taking place on these sacred grounds! The tour takes around 1.5 hours total.
