We make a brief visit to the small city of Ripon to visit the amazing cathedral, built on the site of the original Saxon church. You can explore the cathedral and its original crypt, built in 672AD.

Discover the quintessential English countryside as we travel through Wharfedale and Wensleydale on an amazing scenic tour of the Yorkshire Dales. This is the landscape and scenery made famous by James Herriot's adventures in All Creatures Great & Small. Countless photo opportunities present themselves as we take to the rural back roads and farm tracks that take us off the beaten track.

We drive through Yockenthwaite - the location featured as "the Alderson's Farm" in All Creatures Great & Small. We stop for photos overlooking Yockenthwaite.

We make a brief afternoon stop at the Wenselydale Creamery - chance to sample an amazing array of local cheeses in the free tasting room.

Stop At: Aysgarth Falls, Aysgarth, Yorkshire Dales National Park England

Visit the stunning Aysgarth Falls - a location used in the filming of Robin Hood, Price of Thieves. Take photos of the thundering Upper Falls.

You'll pause in Hubberholme, where we have chance to see the amazing Church of St Michael and All Angels. If the church is open, we'll have chance to go inside.
