5-Day All Major Temples & Kulen Mount Waterfall & Koh Ker & Beng Mealea

For 5 days this package tour will cover for all everything with big & small temples altogether and other attractions in the remote areas as well.

Day one we will see all the temples inside Angkor Thom & nearby and Angkor Wat.

Day two we go to see sunrise over Angkor Wat as really fantastic and we continue to see the most very old temples in Rolous Group and we go further to see Banteay Srei and other temples on the same way driving.

Day three we will take the long driving to see temples in Koh Ker Group & Beng Mealea as these remote temples are rarely visited by tourists and very quiet and peaceful so you can see the nice view of the countryside along the way as well.

Day four we going to see temples on the Big Circle and Small Circle and in the late afternoon we climb up Phnom Bakheng for sunset view.

Day five we go holly mountain Kulen mountain National Park with waterfall and after in late afternoon we take you to shopping at Artisan D'Ankgor & local Old market if you would like.

Itinerary

Day 1: All the of most attractions in Angkor Thom & Angkor Wat

Stop At: Angkor Thom South Gate, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 8:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to buy temples pass along the way to temples then we’ll visit the world famous ancient city of Angkor Thom.

We will start from the gate of Angkor Thom on the South that we call South gate.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Bayon Temple, Angkor Thom, Siem Reap Cambodia
Bayon temple is in the centre of Angkor Thom city with 49 towers in which every tower has 4 faces, so that means there are 196 faces of Budhhistsatva Avalokestesvara and we walk to the next temple.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Baphuon Temple, Angkor Tom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
The nearby temple is called Baphoun which is a Hindu temple built before Angkor Wat in 11st Century. The big Reclining Buddha behind it was built in 16th Century & we continue to Royal Enclosure Wall.

Stop At: Phimeanakas, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Phimeanakas is the pyramid Hindu temple built in 10 Century and located in the center of the old Royal Palace of Angkor Thom so we can visit Phimeanakas altogether with ancient Royal Enclosure Wall.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Terrace of the Elephants is the platform was ever used by many kings to view victorious returning army and it has many pictures of elephants carving on the wall of the platform.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Terrace of the Leper King, Angkor Thom Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
The Terrace of the Leper King is another platform located nearby on the north side of Terrace of Elephants and we will visit altogether with platform of Tempranon & temple Preah Palilay nearby.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: The Victory Gate, Victory Way Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Victory gate is another gate of Angkor Thom on the east side. On the East side Angkor Thom has 2 gates called the Death gate & Victory gate but other sides has only one gate.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Chau Say Tevoda, National Road 6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Chau Say Tevoda temple located near the Victory gate of Angkor Thom and this temple completely restored by Chinese Government. This temple built in 12 Century as the same style to Angkor Wat.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Thommanon, National Road 6 Angkor Archaelogical Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Thommanon temple just opposite the road of Chau Say Tevoda temple and this temple was built in 12 century for Hindho God.

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes-1 hour ( Meals : food can be cost rank from 5USD per dish which depend on the food you order form menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples in afternoon.

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
Angkor Wat is the famous biggest temples among all the temple in Cambodia. This is Hindo temples was built in 12 century for dedicated to Hindo God Vishnu but in 16 century this temple was became to Buddhist temple.

Day 2: Amazing sunrise at Angkor Wat & Rolous Group & Banteay Srei

Stop At: Angkor Wat, Sangkat Nokor Thum, Siem Reap Cambodia
To see sunrise as we require to start the tour early, our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby at 5:00am at your accommodation (Hotel or Guest House) and we will take you to watch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. After sunrise then return to your hotel for breakfast and we will start tour again after your breakfast.
Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes

Stop At: Preah Ko, Siem Reap Cambodia
Preah Ko was the first temple to be built in the ancient and now defunct city of Hariharalaya in the cluster of Rolous Group.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Bakong, Roluos, Siem Reap Cambodia
Bakong is the first temple mountain of sandstone constructed by rulers of the Khmer empire and the biggest temple the cluster of Rolous Group.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Lolei, Roulos Group, Siem Reap Cambodia
Lolei is a small Hindu temple built in 9 century and located in the cluster of Rolous Group.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Banteay Srei, Siem Reap Cambodia
Banteay Srei or some people called Ladies temple, the one which built from the pink sandstone in half of 10th century by Hindu King Rajendravarman II for dedicated to trinity Gods in Hindu mainly Shiva.

After busy couple hours in the morning between 12:00pm-1:00pm we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant nearby take around 45 minutes-1 hour ( Meals : food can be cost rank from 5USD per dish which depend on the food you order form menu ). After lunch then we go to the next temples in afternoon.

Stop At: Banteay Samre, Banteay Srei Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia
Banteay Samre is the Hindu temple built in 12 century as this temples the architectures didn't found much evident to tell the fact but they believe similar model to Angkor Wat.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Pre Rup, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Pre Rup (turn the body), was constructed in late 10th century dedicated to Hindu gods. This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Banteay Kdei, Angkor Archaelogical Park, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia
After lunch break then we go to visit Banteay Srei or called Ladies temple, the one which built from the pink sandstone in half of 10th century by Hindu King Rajendravarman II for dedicated to trinity Gods in Hindu mainly Shiva.

Day 3: Remote Temples Koh Ker Group & Beng Mealea & Roluos Group

Stop At: Koh Ker Temple, RN64 - 2km south KOH KER site entrance and Srayang 100 Km North of Siem Reap Cambodia
Koh Ker Group located more than150 km northeast of Siem Reap town in the province of Preah Vihear, it was briefly the capital of the Khmer empire between 928 and 944.

Temples in Koh Ker Group : Prasat Thom "7-tiered temple" & Prasat Pram & Prasat Neang Kmao & Prasat Linga & Prasat Damre

Stop At: Beng Mealea, 40 km east of Angkor Wat Cambodia
Beng Mealea is the most mysterious temples at Angkor, as nature has well and truly run riot. Exploring this titanic of temples, built to the same floor plan as Angkor Wat, is the ultimate Indiana Jones experience.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 4: Temples on Big & Small Circle with Phnom Bakheng for sunset view

Stop At: Preah Khan, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaelogical Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
After your breakfast our guide will meet and pick you up in the lobby again then we will go to visit Prah Khan is the Buddish temple which built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks.

Stop At: Neak Pean, Angkor Wat Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Continue to Neak Poan, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Barray, constructed by a Khmer King in the Angkor Area.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Krol Ko, Siem Reap Cambodia
Krol Ko is a small Buddhist temple built in 12 Century located nearby Neak Pean.
Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Ta Som, Angkor Archaeological Park, 17252 Cambodia
Ta Som is the small Buddish temple and located on the east side of Neak Pean.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Eastern Mebon, Angkor, Siem Reap Cambodia
East Mebon, a large temple-mountain like ruin, rising three levels and crowned by five towers temple. Every its corners have the nice big elephant status.

After East Mebon then we will drive to temples in Rolous Grou but we before we visit Rolous Group we take a break for lunch first.

Stop At: Ta Keo, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Ta Keo is the big mountain temple built in 11 century for Hindo God, Shiva.

This temple still in the good shape and nowday under restored by Chinese Government.
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Ta Nei Temple, Siem Reap Cambodia
Ta Nei is small & quite temples with less restoration yet. It is a very good for those who want to avoid crowds. The temple is surrounded by many big trees.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Ta Prohm, National Road #6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
It really is amazing! Afterward continue to Ta Promh on the small circuit road. This temple is one with a lot of gigantic tree roots over the temple and is the place where Hollywood made the movie "Tomb Raider".
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Prasat Kravan, National Road 6 Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Kravan is very small temple built in 11 Century and built from the bricks as different from other temples mostly built from the sand-stones.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Phnom Bakheng, Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap 17000 Cambodia
Last one we go to climb up the hill Phnom Bakheng for waiting to see sunset view but in case if you don’t want to be waiting for sunset then you can skip sunset.

Note: Due to the limited number of tourists allowed at the peak on Phnom Bakheng , if it is busy we will take you to climb up Phnom Bakheng a bit earlier and you can take a bit longer waiting for sunset ( Note : Waiting & see sunset will take 1.45 hours - 2 hours )

Day 5: Wonderful Kulen mountain & 1000 Lingas & Reclining Buddha & Waterfall & Artisan D'Angkor-Workshop

Stop At: Phnom Kulen National Park, Cambodia
Located more than 60 km from Angkor Park. This place is not the temple but a river bed covered with sculptures of Lingas that we called 1000 Lingas, the symbol of the God Shiva’s supreme essence. Continue to visit Big Reclining Buddha built from natural giant rock called Prah Ang Thom and after go to see Waterfall. At waterfall is good place for swim also if you like swimming.

Stop At: Artisans Angkor, Stung Thmey Street, Siem Reap 17259 Cambodia
Where it is famous for its traditional craft skills products are available such stone carving, wood carving, lacquering, gilding and silk processing.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Psar Chaa - Old Market, Psar Chaa Road Old French Quarter, Siem Reap 17252 Cambodia
Local market in the center of Siem Reap.
