You’ll walk through the Caribbean jungle discovering hidden beaches and wildlife along the way; You’ll enjoy a tour of Minca, a coffee tour, a cocoa farm tour and a refreshing swim under a hidden waterfall in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada; You’ll enjoy a day on the Rosario islands, explore Cartagena by night, and have options to visit an indigenous village, rejuvenate your body in a Volcanic mud bath, cruise through mangroves in a canoe, and still have some free time to explore other hidden gems.

Itinerary

Day 1: Santa Marta

Stop At: Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
Free day, arrive at any time.

You'll be collected and taken directly to your hotel to check-in.

Day 2: Minca

Stop At: Minca, Minca, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
Travel to the small town of Minca where you'll breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy a tour of this wonderful little mountain pueblo, including its wonderful cafes and artisan shops.
Following this, you'll receive a coffee tour, where you'll learn everything about the production of the Colombia liquid gold, from the seed to cup.
Next, it's time to uncover the process of creating chocolate! where you'll discover the wonderful flavors of Colombian Cocoa, and perhaps you'll enjoy a chocolate facemask as well!
To finish off you're mountain adventure you'll explore some hidden waterfalls, with the opportunity for a refreshing swim (don't forget your swimming trunks)!
Of course, throughout your journey, you need to keep an eye out for any exotic birds that happen to be hanging out close by!

Day 3: Tayrona National Park

Stop At: Tayrona National Park, Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
Awaken to an early morning voyage into the tropical jungle of Tayrona Park and onto Cabo San Juan. Where you’ll enjoy a 2-hour ecological walk through the jungle, visiting 4 beaches, and enjoying approximately 3 hours of beach time in Cabo San Juan, along with some fantastico native wildlife.

Day 4: Free day or Tayrona National Park – Playa Crystal

Stop At: Santa Marta, Santa Marta, Santa Marta Municipality, Magdalena Department
Today is a Free Day for you to simply relax and chill, or if you would prefer we can provide you with an optional tour:

Playa Cristal: Explore another part of Tayrona, where you'll enjoy crystal clear ocean waters, wonderful views, 2 boat rides, and approximately 5 hours of peaceful beach time.

Day 5: Cartagena

Stop At: Cartagena, Cartagena, Cartagena District, Bolivar Department
Relax in a morning drive to the awaiting walled city of Cartagena.

Once here you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy some free time before a City Tour starting around 3:30 pm. On this wonderful tour you will not only get to see the most important sites and this beautiful city during the day but the spectacular sight of this ancient city under lights as well.

Day 6: Rosario Islands

Stop At: Islas de Rosario, Islas de Rosario, Cartagena District, Bolivar Department
You’ll be starting your day with a 7:30 am pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. From there we’ll take you to pier de la bodeguita (Wharf of the Bodeguita) where a speedboat will be waiting to take you on a breathtaking ocean cruise touring the Rosario Islands to arrive at a beautiful picturesque beach. Once here you’ll also be assigned your personal beach space, which will be exclusive for yourself and members of your group.

You’ll receive full beach service, a fantastic typical lunch; use of deckchairs and umbrellas; a cocktail on arrival, and English-speaking hosts. You will not receive any annoying beach vendors trying to sell you souvenirs or anything you do not wish.
You will have the full day to relax and enjoy your space, along with the ability to hire gear for snorkeling, paddleboarding or kayaking.

This will be one of the highlights of your Caribbean adventure!

Day 7: Free Day or Mangrove and Mud-Volcano Tour

Stop At: Cartagena, Cartagena, Cartagena District, Bolivar Department
Enjoy parts of Cartagena you haven’t yet explored or simply chill out and relax on your Free Day.

Or perhaps you'd enjoy a Private Mud Volcano and Mangroves Tour-

You'll travel to the Mud Volcano of Totumo, where you'll climb up into this natural phenomenon and enjoy a relaxing mud bath and a mud massage by local experts. Following this, you will be cleaned from head to toe by locals dedicated to removing every piece of mud they can find. But there's always some hard to find pieces, which is why you'll be enjoying a swim in the temperate Caribbean ocean.

Following this you'll enjoy a typical Caribbean Meal and a bit of relaxation before continuing onto the second part of today's tour; a voyage through the Cartagena Mangroves by Canoe navigated by a local fisherman. You'll discover the importance of this ecosystem and the vast array of wildlife that lives within. Your navigator lives in a nearby village and you'll get a chance to enjoy a walk through their community shortly.

Day 8: Cartagena - Farewell
