Stop At: Citta Vecchia - Bari, 70100, Bari Italy

The private guided tour starts in front of the Castle; just ahead we’ll find the Cathedral and then we’ll continue among alleys, small squares and palaces of Bari Vecchia.
In the heart of the historic centre we’ll meet Saint Nicholas Basilica, we’ll learn about the origin of the church and the worship of Saint Nicholas, beloved patron saint of Bari, whose remains are still resting in the underground crypt since the end of the year 1000 A.D.
Then we'll have a stop to taste a slice of focaccia barese, a panzerotto and a beer (or soft drink), a typical treat not to miss.

We’ll reach Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese, which are today the centre of the nightlife in Bari, and here are still preserved some monuments and remains.
A beautiful panoramic view on the ancient port and the fortified city walls is expecting you in the end of the tour.
