UP STREAM SURFING - The new way of surfing a river

A special outdoor experience awaits you in the heart of Innsbruck. All you need is a sail, a bridge, and a surfboard to surf upstream. UP STREAM SURFING is a mix of wakeboarding and surfing – including turns, 360s, or bunny hops. Qualified surf coaches are always on hand to help you become a pro on the wild waters of Innsbruck in no time.

Itinerary

Surf against the current with us and experience an unforgettable adventure! In our UP STREAM SURFING courses, you will learn how to control the surfboard and make clean turns in the water - whether you are a beginner or advanced. Our qualified trainers will accompany you every step of the way to ensure that you master the art of surfing in no time.

At the beginning, you will practice on a static rope attached to the bridge. Once you have mastered standing up and have a feel for the board, you will move on to the UP STREAM SURFING system. There, you can showcase your skills and surf against the current at over 30 km/h and up to 300 meters - the ideal adrenaline rush for all outdoor enthusiasts. The special feature of our system is that it is powered solely by the flow energy, making it environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The difficulty of the UP STREAM system can be adjusted to your individual level, so you can improve your skills at your own pace. Only basic swimming skills and a minimum age of 16 are required to participate in our surf courses.
