Leave Luxor city to visit two temples of Abu Simbel, which are considered the master pieces of the ancient Egypt.

Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan

Stop At: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
At 06:00 pm we will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer you to the Luxor train station. The journey to Aswan will take 3 hours.
Arrival at Aswan Station. You will be met & assisted by our expert tour guide who will be waiting for you on the platform with a sign with your name. and transfer you to your hotel in Aswan.
Overnight in Aswan.

Day 2: Abu Simbel

Stop At: Abu Simbel Temple Complex, Abu Simbel 1211501 Egypt
At 4.00 am we will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and transfer you to Abu Simbel (which was built by Ramses II).

Your Egyptologist will explain to you why not only the two temples at Abu Simbel are among the most magnificent monuments in the world, but also why their removal and reconstruction was a historic event itself. Listen to how it was, when the temples, 174 miles (280 kilometers) from Aswan were threatened by submersion in Lake Nasser, due to the construction of the High Dam. The Egyptian Government secured the support of UNESCO and launched a worldwide appeal.

The two temples were dismantled and raised over 197 feet (60 meters) up the sandstone cliff where they had been built before more than 3,000 years.

Finally, you will be transferred back to Aswan train station for your journey back to Luxor.

After arrival at Luxor train station, our local representative will meet and assist you and transfer you to your hotel in Luxor.
