The Outlander Photography Tour

Visit and photograph some of the most iconic Outlander filming locations in Scotland. We whisk you away from your hotels in either Glasgow or Edinburgh and take you on a wild adventure following in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire. Designed for photographers of all skills, this Outlander photography experience is a must for all fans of the hit TV series.
These tours can also be custom made to add to your favorite Outlander locations.
Your tour will be conducted by a professional guide and photographer who has also appeared as an extra in the Outlander TV show. We are happy to pick you up directly from your accommodation from either Glasgow or Edinburgh and drop you off at any place that is convenient to yourself.



Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Midhope Castle, Abercorn, South Queensferry EH30 9SL, UK

Visit the home of Jamie Fraser.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Blackness Castle, Blackness, Linlithgow EH49 7NH Scotland

We will then take the short drive to Blackness Castle which was used for Fort William where Jamie was flogged by the sinister Jack Randell. Climb the walls of the ‘ship that never sailed’, and enjoy the sweeping views over the Firth of Forth.

Stop At: Linlithgow Palace, 9 Kirkgate Sulisker, Boghall, Linlithgow EH49 7AL Scotland

We will carry on our adventure to Linlithgow palace which was used for the scenes for Wentworth prison. Linlithgow Palace was a royal pleasure palace where Mary Queen of Scots was born. Walk through one of the most spectacular ruins in Scotland and follow in the footsteps of royalty. We will then have lunch at the famous “Four Marys” restaurant in Linlithgow to sample a traditional Scottish meal and maybe a wee dram of whisky.

Stop At: Culross, Culross, Fife, Scotland

We will then soon arrive at the beautiful village of Culross which was the perfect setting for the fictional village of Cranesmuir in Outlander. Explore the cobbled stone streets which was home to Geillis Duncan and her ill-fated husband, Arthur.

Stop At: Preston Mill & Phantassie Doocot Mill, East Linton EH40 3DS Scotland

Visit this amazing old mill where Jamie jumped into the water to hide from the Red Coats.

Stop At: Falkland Palace & Garden, 11 Miles North of Kirkcaldy, Falkland KY15 7BY Scotland

Visit this beautiful little Scottish village where Outlander filmed the Inverness scenes for the show.

Stop At: Doune Castle, Castle Hill, Doune, Stirling FK16 6EA Scotland

Visit the mighty Castle Leoch in Outlander. Home to the Mackenzie.
