Smaller than Pompeii but in better condition because protected by a flow of mud, Ercolano was discovered in a completely random way, through the excavation of a well in 1709, during which marbles and statues that adorned the Theater of the ancient came to light city. Climb the dangerous Vesuvius, the volcano responsible for the destruction of so many cities. Stroll around its crater and enjoy panoramic views of Napoli.
