Cretan Cooking Class
Begin your tour by visiting a unique olive oil mill, so as to learn all the information about the process of olive oil production. Taste the authentic Cretan olive oil in two different ways. During your cooking class you will discover all the secrets of Mediterranean and Cretan diet. The lady of the house Mrs. Despoina, will teach you how to cook Cretan dishes. Of course, all the ingredients that you will use are organic from their own garden. At the end of the class, you will taste your creations in a genuine Cretan lunch… while having a breathtaking view.

Feel the splendor of the Mediterranean Diet during the cooking class with the
Cretan delicacies like ntakos, tzatziki, ntolmades, gemista and cheese pies.
Gratify your palate by enjoying a traditional meal with everything you created plus a main dish cooked by Mrs. Despoina. Finish your meal with a Cretan dessert such as fresh fruit with yogurt and honey.
The tour starts by visiting an olive oil mill where will be the olive oil tasting in two different ways. The expert will explain everything concerning the extraction of olive oil and you will explore the production room. You will have a Greek coffee before continuing the tour.
The arrival at the village of “Nippos” will be around 11:00, were will precede a short walk through the village. The end up will be at the traditional taverna, where the first glass of raki for the day will prepare you for the cooking class.
Mrs. Despoina, will be waiting to start the traditional Cretan cooking class.You will use products literally picked up from the backyard of Mrs. Maria's garden and you will learn how to make delicious ntako, tzatziki, lachanontolmades, gemista and a Greek salad.Also, you will learn how to make the"phyllo" dough and create the famous cheese pies.
When the cooking ends, lunch follows with the main dish prepared in advance by Mrs. Despoina.All this of course with unlimited raki, local wine and food stories. To finish your meal, enjoy a dessert of the Cretan diet, meaning fresh fruit, yogurt with honey or traditional spoon sweet.You will be back at around 15:30.Stop At:
