  • Private Wine Tour of Lujan De Cuyo from Mendoza

Sample Argentina's fine wines and cuisine on this private full-day tour from Mendoza. After being picked up from your Mendoza hotel around 8.45am, set out on a scenic drive by private vehicle to the Lujan de Cuyo wine region. Admire the views as you climb through the Andes Mountains and the eastern plains, reaching heights of up to 10,761 feet (3,280 meters).

A second winery tour and tasting will be held at 11.30am, after which you'll visit a third winery for lunch. Tuck into a delicious lunch of typical Argentine cuisine, paired with fine regional wines, and perhaps have chance to sample local delicacies such as charcoal-grilled meats, empanadas, and dulce de leche.

Depending on time, pay a visit to a fourth winery in the afternoon and enjoy the final wine tasting of the day before returning to Mendoza.

A great tour and learning experience. Driver was friendly and safe and arrived on time. The overall itinerary was interesting. I had chosen boutique wineries only in Lujan de Cuyo since I have a personal interest in that area called Agrelo.
We visited Cobos, Bressia those having the highest quality wines for our pallet. Lunch at Ojo de Vino was very simple and friendly their wines are interesting if you like organic wines. I believe there are better lunch options while tasting wines. Finally we tasted at Benegas Lynch which was a typical old/ancient Argentinean winery. I am glad we visited to get the historical feel. The wines were promising and very pleasant.
Overall the wine tour was well worth it. I would repeat the experience with other wineries and lunch location to expand my knowledge base.

        General rating: 8/10
