Enjoy an amazing 360- degree view from Panecillo Hill. The tour will then continue from the Basilica Church, where we will make a brief stop. It is the principal and central public square of Quito, Ecuador. This is the central square of the city and one of the symbols of the executive power of the nation. Its main feature is the monument to the independence heroes of August 10, 1809, date remembered as the First Cry of Independence of the Royal Audience of Quito from spanish monarchy.

Stop At: El Panecillo, Costado del Centro Historico, Quito 170150 Ecuador

This is the most famous postcard of Quito! It is a symbol of the people religiosity and faith. Even though the statue made of almost 7.000 pieces of aluminum was set in 1975, the origin of this representation is in a 1734 sculpture made by Bernardo de Legarda, one of the most famous Colonial artists from Quito!

Stop At: Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve, Crater Volcan Pululahua mirador de Pululahua, Calacali 170154 Ecuador

Pululahua is a Quichua word that means “cloud of water” or fog. It is a collapsed volcano with great biodiversity and unique geological formations. It is due to this uniqueness that it was declared a geobotanical reserve.

Stop At: Intinan Museum, Autopista Manuel Cordova Galarza, a 200 metros del redondel de la Mitad del Mundo, San Antonio de Pichincha, Quito 170180 Ecuador

A few hundred meters north of the entrance to the main Mitad del Mundo complex, this amusing museum has meandering outdoor exhibits of astronomical geography and explanations of the importance of Ecuador’s geographical location.

The Church and Convent of San Francisco form part of the City of Quito World Heritage Site, the first site ever inscribed on the World Heritage List in 1978. It is the oldest and most significant religious site in Ecuador. The vast complex includes 13 cloisters, three churches, a plaza, more than 3,500 works of religious art, and a library holding thousands of books and historic documents.
