3-Day Private Tour From Tegucigalpa to Tela and La Ceiba

We can provide you a safe, fun and a new way to discover Honduras that most travelers don’t visit. We will take you from the capital to a remote beach, botanical garden and pristine waterfall and finally to La Ceiba to take the ferry to Utila or Roatan.

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Tegucigalpa to Tela

Stop At: Tela, Tela, Atlantida Department
We depart Tegucigalpa and drive to Tela, specifically to Playa Miami, we'll be making stops to buy local fruits and food, once we reach the beach we set the tents and enjoy the evening with a bornfire.

Day 2: Beach day and botanical garden visit

Stop At: Lancetilla Botanical Garden, Km 90, Carretera CA-13 San Pedro Sula - La Ceiba, Tela AT2200 Honduras
In the morning we will do a little run on the beach or exercise, then breakfast with some fruits that we’ll be buying along the way in the highway the day before. We do a beach clean up and enjoy a local fish soup for lunch. Then we'll driving to a botanical garden called Lancetilla to see the most important collection of exotic plant species in Latin America, especially fruit trees and timber, wihch give the place a unique landscape. In the evening we'll be making another bornfire and sleeping at the beach under the stars again.

Day 3: From Tela to La Ceiba

Stop At: Parque Nacional Pico Bonito, Carretera Tela La Ceiba, Pico Bonito Honduras
In the morning we depart to La Ceiba to hike in Pico Bonito National park were we’ll going to the most pristine waterfalls Honduras has. Then we'll be dropping you in the afternoon in La Ceiba just in time to get the ferry or in your desired hotel
