Fishing Tour & Local Life in Baños

We are sure you already saw and visit all the wonderful places Baños has to offer, so it’s time to try something new and live a unique and real local experience.
Take a new adventure discovering how locals fishing and try it by yourself, as well! This tour assures you a lot of fun learning more about the local costumes, while enjoying amazing views and tasting a typical meal on a unconventional place.


Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Banos, Banos, Tungurahua Province

In the morning, we will pick you up from Baños in a wonderful drive towards Rio Zunag, which takes 40 minutes. Once we are there, it is time to get change with the equipment to enter into the river, and look for the famous Carachamas or Andean Cat Fish.
Be ready to get wet because you will catch the fish with a wire and your own hands. It has all to be an interesting and funny experience!
After, we will see who was luckier and collected more fish. To celebrate the success, we will take you back to Rio Negro, where we will share with a local family (NOT A CONVENTIONAL RESTAURANT) a delicious BBQ lunch and, of course, to try this delicious fish, all surrounded by beautiful plants and lots of birds.
Finally, we will go back to Baños City.
