Hiking Costa Brava Coves and Beaches, Catalan Mediterranean

The Camino de Ronda is a path that offers a unique glimpse into the history of the Costa Brava region of Spain. This centuries-old path was once used as a way for fishermen to navigate their way around the rugged coastline and has since become one of the most famous trails in Catalonia.

To finish the hike we'll reach the Charming Seaside Town of Calella de Palafrugell, known for it's seafood restaurants and turquoise beaches. Here you'll have the option to eat in the many seafood restaurants that sit directly on the water or relax on the beach with a packed lunch.

Calella de Palafrugell is a beautiful and historical coastal fishing village located in the province of Girona in Catalonia, Spain. With its picturesque beaches, stunning coastal views, and rich cultural and historical heritage, Calella de Palafrugell is a must see destination for both locals and international travelers.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Platja de Castell, Palamos Spain

We'll pick you up from Barcelona in a fully air conditioned van and drive towards the area of Cala de Castell, next to the small town of Palamos. This will take approximately 1hr 30min.

The hike will start on the infamous Cami De Ronda that stretches along the Costa Brava into France and is infamous for hikers around the world.

The hike will be approximately a 8km loop where we'll stop at some of the most stunning emerald coves in the area, until we reach the Botanical Gardens of Cap Roig, before heading inland and returning to Cala de Castell.

The hike will take around 2-4 hours and once finished you'll have time to relax on the beach, swim and even do some snorkelling.

Please note the hike is open to all fitness levels and can be adjusted if needed. Just let us know and we'll bespoke the trip to your needs.

Stop At: Cami de Ronda, 17100 la Bisbal d'Emporda Spain

We'll hike along the coastal trails of the Camino de Ronda, discovering hidden coves to swimming and snorkelling.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cala Estreta, 17230 Palamos Spain

We'll swim on one of the most stunning Calas on the Costa Brava.

Duration: 30 minutes

Pass By: Formigues Islands, Spain

From the shore we'll see the lighthouse of the Formigues Islands.

Stop At: Barraca d'en Dalí, 17230 Palamós, Girona, Spain

Visit a studio previously used by Salvador Dali.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: La Cala S'Alguer, Palamos Spain

Stunning Fishing Village
