Information about Lago Ranco

The city and commune Lago Ranco is located 47 kilometers northeast of Bueno River and 887 south of Santiago.

This city was founded on February 14, 1941 during the government of Pedro Aguirre Cerda at the time of the radicals, along with this is one of the richest cities in terms of native vegetation, although since 1930 the first settlements (Los Rosales population) due to the timber boom in the sector.
One of the main centers of tourist attraction in the district are the beaches of Lago Ranco, where two trading centers are located: an artisan fair and a food center, as well as a water park available for the community and visitors during the summer season
