Located in the town of Quinchao commune of the same name, was declared a National Monument, in the category of Historical Monument on 26 July 1971 by Supreme Decree 1,750.

Is one of the most popular pilgrimage sites of the island. Built in the eighteenth century is one of the largest in Chiloé, with its 52.8 meters long and 18.4 meters wide and a tower that rises 18.3 meters.

Its large size is because the Village of Quinchao arrive on 8 December, hundreds of people to participate in the feast of Our Lady of Grace, one of the most important religious festivals of the archipelago, surpassed only by Caguach.
