The Exhibition Park was built during the government of José Balta shortly after the collapse of the Wall of Lima. The Exhibition Park is located in the center of Lima.
It is one of the most important and emblematic parks of the city of Lima, for its infrastructure that combines art and ecology. Its facilities are equipped for national and international shows.
It was premiered next to the Exhibition Palace (today Art Museum) in 1872. During the celebration of the Centennial of Independence (1921), the beautiful Chinese Fountain was inaugurated, a gift from the Chinese settlers settled in Lima.

Among its facilities stands out the amphitheater "Nicomedes Santa Cruz", named in tribute to the poet, musicologist, folklorist, journalist, short story writer and afro-Peruvian essayist, who disappeared in 1992.

This amphitheater has the capacity to hold about 4 thousand people; Due to its central location it is a very required space for presentations by local and international artists.

Recreational lagoon
