Banff National Park is the oldest national park in Canada, established in the Rocky Mountains in 1885.

The Park is 180 km west of Calgary, in the province of Alberta, covering 6641 square kilometers.

Among glaciers and ice fields, spectacular forests, lakes that seem painted and great mountains, this is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Vivid colors that blend perfectly, a rich flora and fauna are some of the wonders that can be lived when you enter the park.
One of the best known points is the area surrounding Lake Peyto. Its great turquoise waters are located in the beautiful WaputikRange Valley, between Caldron, Peyto Peaks and Jimmy Simpson Mountain.

Banff National Park at one time became number three on the list of the most visited parks in the world, causing the alert among environmentalists, since so much concurrence could jeopardize their sustainability and the survival of their abundant wildlife, such as deer, elk, mountain goats, black bears, wolves, coyotes and foxes, since this extensive park allows endless possibilities to enjoy it, for example thirteen areas to camp and interact with nature.
