This neoclassical house was used by Customs, and was built around 1875 and 1876, to replace the original headquarters that had burned down a few years before. currently protected by the National Historical and Artistic Heritage Institute of Brazil.

Nowadays, it is used by an association of plastic artists that shows crafts of local artists. There is also a local shop with craft shops and a small bar where the typical drinks of the region are served.
