DAY 1:
SANTIAGO / CURICO
We leave Santiago to head for Curico (200 klms) through the panamerican highway. Rich in history And attractive spots like Vichuquén Lake or its old churches (1734) and the Condell Hill that watches the growing city which is the vinicultural land and heart of Chile.

Visit to San Pedro vineyard 10 klms south Curico, established 1965 by Correa Albano Family. Nowadays It has become one the major vineyards in the county by exporting to more than 70 countries worldwide. Its surface extends to 1.200 hectares of vineyards with its original stone cellar dating back to the foundation day.
Along the vineyards we start the tour and we will appreciate the different stocks like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, and Carmenère and the biggest ponds with a capacity of five hundred thousands Liters and this is where you will make the acquaintance of winemaking , the beautiful cellars where the best wines are preserved, and one of the most modern vinification plants in South America. At the end we taste some selected wines. Now the tour leads us to Miguel Torres Vineyard that belongs to the well-known spanish winemaker Miguel Torres who decided to establish the winery and vineyards in these new lands in 1979, he was pioneer in the use of stainless steel barrels. The tour will lead us through the modern facilities and we will learn something about the winemaking and storage process, lastly we will taste the delicious wines.

The tour is inclusive of lunch in the Restaurant Viña Torres, after lunch we go to La Fortuna vineyard which is backed up by an experience of 133 years in wine production in Lontue area, the heart of Curico´s valley. By taking advantage of the phytosanitary conditions of Chile and keeping the old traditions in cultivation, La Fortuna Vineyard has played a significant role in the organic winemaking in Chile. The visit comes to an end with the best wine-tasting.
