GEOMETRICAS HOT SPRING

Departure from Pucón to the spa of Lican Ray, bordering Lake Calafquén to the town of Coñaripe, to take detour to the Villarrica National Park, to the Chinai sector.
The Geométricas springs naturally sprout in a gulch of half a kilometer long in the middle of the native forests of the Villarrica Volcano National Park, in km. 16 of the road from Coñaripe to Palguín.
There are 17 stone pools filled with pure thermal hot water, bathrooms and lockers near each pool, and a barbecue to eat sanduich, drinks, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spring water with lemon and cucumber, etc.

The thermal waters of the Geometric Baths have a moderate (45 ° C) to high (89 ° C) temperature and a moderately alkaline pH. Due to their high contents of Ca they are moderately hard waters and of low alkalinity.
Due to their contents of sodium, chlorides and sulphates, they are sulphated-chloride-sodium waters. In comparison with the waters of other hot springs in the region, which, them, are associated with active volcanic centers, of a basic nature, they have relatively low contents of SiO2, alkaline metals (Na and K) and other elements such as Fe, Cu , Zn, B, Al, As and F.
