Stop At: Morro Solar, Chorillos, Lima Peru

Our first visit will be to one of highest points of the city, located in Chorrillos district to go towards the historical “Morro Solar” (300 masl), where an outstanding view will be waiting for us and we will be able to learn about the history of this spot and Peru in general.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Barranco, Lima Peru

The next spot to visit is the bohemian and artistic district of Barranco which is the smallest district of Lima. We will visit the “plaza”, the romantic and mysthical “Puente de los suspiros”. In addition, we will take a look at the beautiful art murals on the very small and narrow street’s walls of this traditional neighborhood.

Stop At: Miraflores District, Lima Peru

After Barranco, our visit will take part in the colorful and famous district of Miraflores, where we will visit the romantic “Parque Del Amor” that has a very artsy sculpture made by a well recognized local artist called Victor Delfín and it offers a panoramic view of the Peruvian sea. Then, we go towards “Parque Kennedy” for a walk throughout the park and to have a very nice conversation about the history of such a popular place and of course, watch and pet the cats living in this park and on the trees.

Stop At: Mercado N 2 de Surquillo, Lizardo Montero S/n, Lima Peru

Time for food! We go to a very traditional “Local Market” in Surquillo district, where we will learn about many products we grow and harvest in our country and also learn about the Peruvian gastronomy, We will have a fruit tasting to enjoy the native and exotic products brought from different regions of Peru (Coast, Andes and Amazon) and then, have lunch at a very local restaurant where typical and native food is prepared and it is also very visited by locals.

Stop At: Plaza San Martin, Lima Peru

After lunch, we go towards the historical center of Lima, where we’ll visit San Martin Square, your local tour guide will take you to visit this very nice square loved by locals because of the gardens and nice atmosphere.
Your guide will also give you a good introduction to the history of the country its people and local life.

Stop At: Jiron de La Union, Union Street, Lima Peru

This is an unmissable street! You will have a panoramic view and you will appreciate a very nice architecture, great wooden balconies, impressive rock carvings and monumental churches and religious altars. The local atmosphere, shops, chicken restaurants plus local music will make your day very excited, happy and for sure interesting!

Stop At: Museo Convento San Francisco y Catacumbas, Plaza San Francisco Jirón Lampa y Ancash, Lima 15001 Peru

After we finish our exploration of Unión Street, we will take you through Ucayali and Lampa streets to enjoy all the history of the city of Lima and learn about its people and life. We will continue with the visit of one of the most impressive attractions in the city of Lima, the Monastery of San Francisco and its fascinating internal CATACOMBS! Where we will learn about the culture and traditions of the inhabitants of the city of Lima during the colonial era of the XVI, XVII y XVIII centuries. We believe this is one of the attractions that will make your tour and visit memorable!

Stop At: Presidential Palace (Palacio de Gobierno), Plaza de Armas Zocalo, Lima 15001 Peru

We will have a panoramic view of one of the most important houses in the entire country accompanied by a good and rich explanation. Our president lives and works here! Also, this is where the changing of the guard takes place every day! We are going to enjoy great architecture and a place full of history!

Stop At: RESTAURANTE CORDANO, Jr. Áncash 202, Lima 15001, Peru

It is considered the oldest (or fist) official bar in Peru, located next to the presidencial palace, famouse because many former presidents and writers came here including Ernest Hemingway. This friendly bar is not posh with all forniture but with great personality and character. Locals love its traditional cusine like: Aji de gallina (creamy chicken), fresh ceviches, Tongue stew, tasty anticuchos and top Pisco sours! We are will have a quick visit.

Stop At: Lima Cathedral, Jirón Carabaya, Lima 15001, Peru

The most important religious power during the colonial era was in the city of Lima and was presided over by this imposing cathedral. By Catholic rules, any other church must be built higher than its towers. The front is impressive, the art and architecture that surrounds it is also impressive. There the main and oldest religious ceremonies are celebrated. The locals love to get married there. We will have the best panoramic view of the Cathedral for the best photos!

Stop At: Pasaje Santa Rosa, XX39+PHF, Pje. Sta. Rosa, Lima 15001, Peru

Lovely Street where locals go to enjoy their day, normally you find temporary exhibitions in there, comfortable atmosphere with an always fresh breze in the air. This place hide the MOST IMORTANT sacred rock for the still living natives, this sacred place is still used to do offerings and payments to the gods like mother earth and natives from Peru came here to do different type of rituals including dances to keep their culture and energy alive. Sacred place good to go and learn!

Stop At: Basilica and Convent of Santo Domingo, Lima, Jirón Camaná 170, Jirón Conde de Superunda 262, Lima 15001, Peru

This convent is considered the oldest in Southamerica which during the 17th century had the tallest tower in the whole continent, still these days works as convent and has and impressive facade and shiny inside front altar, you will be visiting this place from outside especially because we will take the car to comeback to your accomodation in here, if the church of this convent is open you can take a quick look inside.

Stop At: Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor), Jr. Junin and Jr. Carabaya, Lima Peru

The Plaza de Armas is another HIGHLIGHT! It has an influence from Spain in the architecture (because before we were a colony), it is also surrounded by the first palaces, mansions, palaces and castles built in South America and a beautiful main garden. Remember that before taking you to this place we will take a walk on Ancash Street to visit the "Happy Inka market" where you will appreciate the beautiful art of the locals, indigenous carvings and textiles, you will have the opportunity to buy a souvenir of your visit to Lima!
