Juan Fernandez National Park. Juan Fernandez - CHILE

The National Park covers an area of 9571 hectares. It comprises the islands of Santa Clara, Alexander Selkirk and most of the Robinson Crusoe island. Administratively located in the province of Valparaiso, commune of Juan Fernandez.

Access Routes
The park is 667 km. the coast of continental Chile to the west, opposite the port of San Antonio.
Air travel time is 2 to 3 hours, and by sea, between 25 and 72 hours depending on the type of boat.
All domestic and foreign visitors must come to the park administration to report and record their visit.

Tourist Information
Park Administration:

It is located at 1,000 m. berthing pier of St. John the Baptist and the town of that name in Robinson Crusoe Island.
There is an information booth at 150 mt CONAF. the dock.

Ranger office:
There is a creche at Alejandro Selkirk Island, located 187 km. west of Robinson Crusoe, which provides information and guidance for scientific expeditions. This works only in spring and summer and has radio equipment.

Areas Snack:
