Information about Gramado

Gramado is a Brazilian municipality of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, located 115 kilometers north of Porto Alegre, capital of the State. It borders the municipalities of Caxias do Sul (to the north), Três Coroas (to the south), Canela (to the east), Nova Petrópolis and Santa Maria do Herval (to the west).

The architecture, of Bavarian inspiration and half-timbered constructions, impresses with the romanticism of its facades. Hydrangea gardens and beautiful nature also attract visitors. The songs, of German, Italian and gaúcha tradition, and the accents make you enter the climate of a very Brazilian Europe. The spas and the various hotels in the city complement the experience and allow a moment of recreation, welcome and relaxation at the top of the Sierra Gaúcha.
