Information about Maitencillo

Maitencillo is a little more than 160 Kilometers north of Santiago at 11 km from Puchuncavi and 57 km from Viña del Mar.
Maitencillo has around 1300 inhabitants throughout the year, but in the summer season (January and February) these exceed 10,000 inhabitants, since it has a wide variety of accommodation such as cabins, hotels and apart hotels.

The main beaches of Maitencillo are: El Abanico, Aguas Blancas, Playa Grande, Las Conchitas, Los Pocitos and La Caleta.
The main activities that can be done in Maitencillo include surfing (Playa El Abanico) and parapente (Playa Aguas Blancas).

Due to the tranquility of its beaches and the proximity of Santiago, it has become an incipient spa for families in summer.

How to get to Maitencillo?
By Car: From Santiago, take Route 5 North to the Nogales-Puchuncavi junction, which is approximately 120 km from Santiago.
Then we will take to the left along Route F-20, towards Puchuncavi and from there we are 13 Kilometers away from Maitencillo.
